Poised yet purposeful - the Boker Plus Sanjo captures the joy of refined knife design without ever becoming playful. Understated, confident, and quietly expressive, this neo-Japanese gentleman’s knife is the work of French designer Guy Poggetti, whose fascination with art, technology, and craftsmanship is reflected in every line.
Named after the town of Sanjō in Japan’s Niigata Prefecture, this elegant folder blends minimalism with modern performance. The ball-bearing VG-10 Tanto blade delivers calm, unwavering efficiency through all daily cutting tasks, while its striking stonewash finish reinforces the clean, functional aesthetic.
For a seamless silhouette, the flipper tab disappears entirely between the stainless-steel liners when open. A robust linerlock anchors the blade with confidence. Finely textured brown burlap Micarta handle scales, matched by a Micarta backspacer, complete the design with natural warmth and refined character.
Supplied with a tip-up (r) clip, a high-quality nylon case, and a subtle “Sanjonara” nod to the Land of the Rising Sun.
