In a tribute to the special relationship between a hunter and his canine companion, the Ode to Bird Hunting features these devoted allies on all four corners, capturing their triumph after a day of hard work in the field, encircled by a pair of smoothbore firearms. Kerr Hager, artist & naturalist, aims to capture both the reverence for the enduring custom of bird hunting with sporting dogs, and the splendor of the reward depicted in classic oil paintings.
