Youth Field Trial Alliance
Strideaway, the online publication dedicated to pointing dog field trials embarked on an important mission during the summer of 2019 with the creation of Youth Field Trial Alliance. True to their word, and with generous financial assistance from field trialers and enthusiasts around the country, they launched their website Youth Field Trial Alliance.
The purpose of Youth Field Trial Alliance is the widespread promotion of pointing dog field trials and training events for junior handlers around the country, Canada and Japan. Youth field trials are a conduit for getting kids involved in the many aspects of our wonderful sporting life — fostering good sportsmanship, a healthy lifestyle, animal care, community involvement and a lifelong interest in conservation.
Anywhere there are youth field trials for pointing dogs, Youth Field Trial Alliance’s website and social media pages are set up to list and promote the events and publish reports afterwards, igniting enthusiasm in field trialers everywhere to take the initiative and host more events. Through everyone’s efforts and participation, today’s youth handlers will have the opportunity to enjoy the sports of field trialing and upland game hunting we so love.
