This beautiful one-of-a-kind exquisite Pheasant Tree scarf is made of silk and is hand-drawn and colored by Sabina Savage in the most vivid colors from this inspired story, Soaring above the treetops to the Krishna River in the north, the pheasants carry Tipu Sultan's ornate weaponry and sing rally cries to their peers. The Tree of Life below them hums with activity, as their comrades await the command. Known as The Tiger of Mysore, Tipu Sultan rules his Indian kingdom and as the British finally break through the city walls, they are met by an army, leaping from the parapets and swooping overhead. His soldiers advise Tipu Sultan to escape from secret passages and live to fight another day, but to their astonishment he replies “One day of life as a Tiger is far better than thousand years of living as a Sheep. Tipu Sultan died defending his capital on 4 May, 1799. - Sabina Savage, The Sultan's Soldiers
